Mrs Dena Oxley's | Find a Therapist | We Are Kiku
Therapy services delivered by Mrs Dena Oxley's in Ipswich (Suffolk).
When you experience depression, there are lower levels of activity in the front area of your brain. This is the part responsible for regulating mood, sleep and motivation.
Your brain runs on electricity; Flow sends gentle electrical impulses into the area that has slowed down. This gets cells firing again and reduces your symptoms of depression. The technology is called tDCS - or transcranial Direct Current Stimulation.
Until now it was expensive and only available at clinics. With Flow you can access the treatment at home. contact me for more details.
What We Do
Compassionate, Inclusive Counselling Tailored to You
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and navigating difficult emotions or transitions alone can be exhausting. Working with a trained counsellor or psychotherapist in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment can offer the space you need to explore your experiences, find clarity, and move forward.
I provide a calm, confidential space where you can feel heard and understood—whether you're facing anxiety, relationship issues, low mood, or personal change. Together, we can explore what's going on for you, help you identify your own solutions, and support you through meaningful change at your pace.
I am also qualified to work with neurodivergent clients, including those with Autism, ADHD, and ADD. I take a neuro-affirming approach, recognising that traits often associated with these presentations—such as skimming, nonlinear communication, sensory sensitivity, or intense focus—are valid and completely normal ways of being, not problems to be "fixed."
You'll be met with understanding, not judgment—whether you're seeking support for specific challenges or simply want a space where your neurodivergent identity is respected and valued.
Hypnotherapy
Tailored to suit you, Absolutely NO gimmicks, I work within a safe and ethical framework, allowing you the opportunity to explore your own mind in a safe, relaxing tranquil and therapeutic environment. A relaxing, rewarding and incredibly effective way of making sense of presenting issues.
